Pepsi-Cola manufactured most of its crowns for United States bottlers between 1938 and 1949. First crowns were lettered "MADE IN U.S.A. BY PEPSI-COLA BOTTLE CAP DEPT." on the skirt. Subsequent crowns had no makers mark aside from a few toward the end markled PC.
