1970: Launching of the soft drink, Brisa with the flavors: Laranja, Limonada, Limão, Cola e Água Tónica and Maracujá. This is extended to distribution through DIFEL for the whole island, with stores in Santa Cruz, Ribeira Brava, Calheta and Ponta Delgada
1971: New building for ECM / DIFEL offices in Rua Alferes Veiga Pestana
1973: Partnership with Central de Cervejas Lançamento for production of Cervejas Sagres in Madeira by ECM
1974: Schweppes drinks manufactured in Madiera by ECM
1976: Following the nationalization of the brewing industry and institutionalization of autonomy in the region, the share of Águas do Porto Santo, Lda (32%) goe to heritage company RAM.
1977: The ECM now represents the Coca-Cola Company in Madeira.
ECM granted authorization to bottle, produce and market their products
1991: Acquisition by Região Autónoma dos Açores of 20% of the Fábrica João de Melo Abreu. Lda, so that it now holds the entire share capital. Reintorduction of Cerveja Export with new labeling.
1995: Inauguration of the new factory in Parque Industrial da Zona Oeste (Câmara de Lobos)
2000: Acquistion of Linha PET and the Compal procucts.
2005: ECM and Sociedade Central de Cervejas e Bebidas (SCC) bilateral distribution agreements.
