| | | | | | Extra info | The “Société Anonyme Nancéienne d'Alimentation” (SANAL) was created in 1908. The head office ws in Nancy. Its purpose was the manufacture, purchase, sale and distribution of all food products. In 1957, the company had some 41 branches in the region, including 6 in Yutz. On January 1, 1971, SANAL merged by absorption with the company "Mielle-Cailloux", created on January 15, 1936, whose head office is in Metz, which owns the "ECO" as well as the "Epiciers Réunis" and has 93 branches including 7 in Yutz. Mielle Cailloux was dissolved on December 29, 1970. On January 1, 1971, SANAL also merged with the company "La société Rouannaise de Magasins" (SORAM), and "Union commerciale d'Uckange". Purpose of the new entity: Food and supply in general. The new company, SANAL-ECO, had 72 stores including 5 in Yutz. It changed brand on June 24, 1977 to become SANAL-ECO-CORSO.
It was absorbed by CORSO on September 15, 1978 and brought in all its branches. The company was dissolved in October 14, 1984 |
