J.B. Green was John Benjamin Green who was previously one of the incorporators of the Celery Cola Company of Texas in 1908.
Green & Green registered the Thrill trademark in 1925 and the Fruit Bowl trademark in 1938
Their principal product was a soft drink known as "Fruit Bowl", an opaque, reddish carbonated mixture of fruit concentrate, artificial coloring, flavoring, and a small amount of benzoate of soda. They produced other beverages known variously as Golden Bowl, Silver Bowl, Orange Bowl Lemon Bowl, Rose Bowl and Hawaiian Bowl.
Sidral, an imitation cider flavored extract was manufactured under the House of Green, Inc. beginning in the late 1940s. |
