| | | | | Extra info | Cervecería Nacional was established in 1893 and changed its name to Cervecería de Caracas in 1942.
Merged with Cerveceria Zulia and Cerveceria Venezolana De Maiquetia in 1955 to form C. A. Cervecera Nacional.
In 1965 the plant located in the La Candelaria sector in Caracas was moved to Boleíta.
In 1979 the Zulia and Caracas beers disappeared from the market and the National beer began to be sold.
In 1994 this company was acquired by Companhia Cervejaria Brahm. That same year, the plant located in Boleíta, Sucre municipality of the Miranda State (Metropolitan Area of Caracas), ceases its operations, leaving only the Barquisimeto plant operational. The following year, the sale of Brahma on a national level became massive (previously it was only sold in Lara State).
In 2003, changed its name to AmBev Venezuela .
In 2008 it re-launched the classic Zulia beer , after several decades of absence. In the beginning it was destined to be a limited edition, but due to the success obtained it is still going to market, this time with the Regional Brewery since 2012. |
