| | | | | Extra info | The history of the brewery dates back to the 14th century . However, it was Louis De Block that started the current business in 1887 . He was first mulder and farmer, but was married to the daughter of the brewer from Baardegem .
He was later succeeded by his son Alfons, who taught at brewer Joseph van Ginderachter of Martinas Merchemis Brewery . Afterwards, the company was led by son-in-law Paul Saerens.
