| | | | | | | | Extra info | In 1934 by Jaume Serra Noy and Francesc Casanovas Garrigues founded Ram Sociedad Anónima in Barcelona. In 1946, after the civil war, the company's products included Cacao Ram, Crema Ram, and Horchata Ram.
La Lactaria Española was created as a fusion between Fernando Moraga and Granja Catalana. The company established its factory in the city of Sils and then in 1952, moved to Vidreras (Gerona). One of its products was Leche Lar.
In 1955, La Lacteria Española S.A. acquired Ram S.A. and Lacvit and took over the Ram brand. A new factory was built in Barcelona in 1963.
In 1974, the company joined I.N.I. (Instituto Nacional de Industrias) which sold Lacteria Española S.A. to Tabacalera Española. All the Ram products continued to carry the La Lacteria Española S.A. name during this period.
In 2000, the company was acquired by Lactimilk S.A, part of the the Puleva group. |
