| | | | | | | Extra info | In 1947, Victor Trinon, an agronomist and farmer's son from Andrimont (who sold his milk at home), began developing a Dairy located in Dison by bringing together cooperative dairies in the surrounding area and created Interlait, which provided work for more than 350 people. In the 1970s, by buying several houses in the lower part of Andrimont Street, it was decided to build the imposing building that is still in use to this day. Thanks to the tenacity of the current management (Mr. Trinon and Mr. Marcotty, director of the Malmédy dairy), it was also possible to create the Interlait Group in the 1980s and to add a transport cooperative called Trans -Lake.
It was in 1990 that the Group went under French control and in 2001 Interlait became Interlac. Mr. Trinon, after 50 years of management, had left the company in 2009. |
