Early on they were known for their seltzer water. Later they produced and distributed Golden Bridge brand drinks. They were local bottlers and distributors for Rainier Brewing of San Francisco, distributors for Canada Dry Ginger Ale, and the Alameda County agents for Schlitz Beer. The Golden Bridge brand was around until at least 1966.
c.1940, their bottling plant was at 343 - 10th Street at the corner of Webster in Oakland, CA. From at least 1933 to 1941, William Lang was the president.
The company also had branches in San Francisco and San Jose.
Golden Bridge Beverages of San Francisco started out in 1923 making root beer exclusively and bottling the drink in Oakland through 1966. As they added flavors, the sign was altered to reflect different drink menus. The company ultimately lost its market share to Dr. Pepper.
