| | | Extra info | La Copelina was founded on January 10, 1931, by Dr. Manuel V. Carbonell. The mineral water bottling factory was located at 38km of Sierra de los Padres and 55 km from the city of Mar del Plata on Route 226. By 1945, the factory was booming. The bottler not only marketed the table water, Agua La Copelina, but had also become a tourist attraction with its stunning landscape, mountains, wildlife and the imposing medieval structure of the factory. The factory closed in the 60's due to severe economic problems and probate court problems. |
