Extra info The source of Contrex water was discovered in 1760 by Dr. Bagard, the first doctor of Louis XV, who was called at the time the source of Contrexéville.
He found, after healing in patients, the virtues of "mineral fountain" Contrexeville.


These virtues were confirmed after a few years by another doctor Pierre Thouvenel which takes in 1974 the head of the spa of Contrexeville, close to Vittel.


The reputation of Contrexéville as a health resort dates from 1864, when development began by a company, the Société des Eaux de Contrexéville

Called "Source Pavilion", she attracts the attention of "water drinkers", the Lorraine gentlemen, followed by the French and English aristocrats.
It was only in 1861 Contrexéville water is recognized as a natural mineral water.
The Ministry of Health and the Academy of Medicine testified in 1903 that Contrexéville is beneficial to health.

2002: Launch of the small bottle of 50 cl.

2003: Launch of the perfume red fruits.

2004 size of 1 liter Marketing flavored.

2004: Launch of 1L scented format

2005: Launch of sparkling water "Contrex fine bubbles."
