| | | | | | | | Extra info | George Hay became the proprietor after he bought the Colac Aerated Waters business, owned by Percy Buchanan, in 1918. George became ill with a form of Alzheimer’s disease and his wife, Elizabeth stepped in and ran the factory for many years. George passed away in 1937 and Elizabeth then became the Managing Director. It was at this time that she was recognised with the “E. Hay” bottle. Elizabeth passed away 5 April 1942.
