Extra info The company was created by Adolphe Mignard shortly before the First World War. His son Ariel and her little son Serge, succeeded him. The Briard cider was made with old apple varieties, called pommes à deux fins (apples dual purpose) because they are used for the table and for drinking. Sold barrels originally cider is bottled from 1950 The main brand then was cidre Jacques de Toy and the company was expanding. Mignard The company sells fruit and juice mocktails. It became a subsidiary of Pernod Ricard in 1992, when it employs 130 people and sells twenty million bottles per year.
