Extra info The fact that the brewery belonged to Schmids is documented in 1605 . It is the beginning of the owner's family Schmid, because in 1627 "Hanns Schmidten zu Ustersbach, the Wolfen sel. Son" took over the business "with all accessories in village and field".
Around 1721 a new building of the estate must have taken place, but Franz Schmid "handed over the Tafernwirtschaft with accessories, consisting of a newly built two-storey dwelling including Bräustatt, 2 bricked houses, stables, garden ...".
1794 is documented that Franz Anton Schmid the Posthalterei in Ustersbach business.
In 1835 , Franz Xaver Schmid began to renovate the dwelling-house. In 1843 he probably built the vaulted storage cellar under the present Bräustüble and bought a "new brewery". On the 6th of May, 1844, he began the new building of the Bräuhauses. 1862 begins the successor with the construction of a large Lagerkeller in the about one kilometer south of Ustersbach ? located Hollendorf.
As late as 1925 the entire booth was united in a single room. On June 4, 1928, Adolf Schmid completed the master's examination and began to modernize and expand the brewery. He expanded the Ustersbach brewery to a modern enterprise.
In 1939 the construction of the malthouse began, but during the war, the building material went out, and even the newly acquired truck Opel Blitz was confiscated immediately after the outbreak of war. As a result, only customers from the surrounding area could be supplied with oxen brakes. A Nutriafarm built in 1941 helps to finance brewing raw materials . After the introduction of the DM 1948 and the increase in fur imports, Adolf Schmid resolved the farm again. In April 1945, the Americans occupied Ustersbach ? and confiscated the restaurant and the brewery. But soon after the war, the brewery and the inn continued, and in 1950 Adolf Schmid bought the first bottle labeling machine with a capacity of 1500 bottles in an hour. He bought eleven beer storage tanks.
In 1953 Adolf Schmid built a new Tennenmälzerei, in 1958 a new Füllereige building with a bottle filling line, which has an hourly capacity of 8,000 bottles. In 1962, the farm of Adolf Schmid's brother Karl Schmid was settled in the fields north of Ustersbach ? and erected a new brewhouse in his stead. In the same year Adolf Schmid founded the brewery Ustersbach Adolf Schmid OHG with the 1934 born Kasperschmid. In 1964, a second filling shop with an hourly output of 18,000 bottles was bought. In 1967 a fully automatic germination road was built for the malt house and the 35-meter high silo tower, which holds 1,000 tons of barley and is today the landmark of the Ustersbach brewery.
At the Brunnenstrasse in Ustersbach the brewery built a warehouse in 1971 , the vaults and quality assurance were moved to the first floor of the restaurant and began the construction of a fermentation and storage cellar for 15 cylindrical stainless steel tanks. And they installed a new bottle filling line with an output of 50,000 bottles per hour.
In 1988 , a computer-controlled 5-unit brewhouse with integrated heat recovery was installed in which the environmentally friendly cooking system "Stromboli" was installed.
From 1995 the brewery supported the renaturation of the ghettos . The ghettos are a large biotope of wetlands and permanently moist water surfaces with an area of ??about 32,000 square meters in the valley basin of the Reischenau , Previously, the gorges were used for agriculture, today they are home to endangered animal and plant species like the grass frogand the yellow belly or for the stork.
In the year 2000, the brewery on Brunnenstrasse built a new barrel filling plant and converted the loading operation to a six-way forklift truck. In 2002, a new logistics center was built opposite the brewery on the B 300 , thus taking the first step out of the center of the village . At the same time, the heating system was switched to natural gas. In 2005, the company began to expand its operational photovoltaic plants. They broke down the abandoned plant and buildings, built in their place a double-storey building for the storage of solid material and the expansion of the production area. In September 2005, the Ustersbach brewery celebrated its 400th anniversary with over 12,000 visitors at the "Open Day".
Between 2006 and 2008, systems were installed in the filling plant, such as the empty and full-bottle inspection as well as the box washer. In 2008 an additional warehouse with a capacity of around 200,000 boxes was built next to the logistics center to store empties, beer and refreshments and to relieve the load of traffic. In the same year the brewery built an energy-saving compressor station.
In 2009, the company introduced "ad-blue" technology for its own trucks, which saved eight percent fuel. In 2010, the photovoltaic plant was expanded on the hall roofs and expanded the large biotope in the ghettos with damp walls to a total of 32,000 square meters. As of 2011, large-scale lorries were operated with liquefied petroleum gas, while smaller and medium-sized stackers were operated with their own electricity produced in an environmentally friendly manner.

Also in 2011 , a new kind of beer filter technology was installed in the filter cellar and the first KUKA-Keg robot was used in the barrel filling shop. They celebrated the 1st Ustersbach Beer.Sommer.Fest and sent the first beer container to Brazil on the trip.
In 2012 the new loading yard was opened with the Schäfflertanz, created further new trucks with environmentally friendly Ad-blue technology, expanded the photovoltaic plant again and commissioned a biogas reactor for the production of methangas from brewery waste water.
In 2013, a new yeast pure breeding plant was put into operation, a non-alcoholic yeast wheat was developed and new beer boxes were introduced.
In 2014 the Ustersbacher Bräustüble reopened its rooms after a major reconstruction.
