Extra info 1813 Johann Reichenberger Member of the Bräugesellschaft and Brewmaster of the Marktbräuhaus received on application a "brewing concession" in his own house (today's brewery Lang).

1843 Transfer of the brewery and the estate to Johann Reichenberger jun.

1856 Johann Reichenberger and daughter Katharina inherit the estate and brewery.

April 28, 1857 After the Reichenberger family had finished the operation, it was auctioned together with all the possessions of Andreas Lang (who owned the brewery in Bierhütte) for his son Johann Nepomuk I at a price of 40,000 guilders.

1872 In the great market fire in Freyung, the buildings of the brewery were completely destroyed. Thanks to the help of the breweries Innstadtbräu Passau, Ratzesbergerbräu Waldkirchen and Langbräu Jandelsbrunn, which are related to the Lang family, the brewery business could already be continued again next year.

1885 The distillery until then belonging to the brewery was shut down.

1893 After the death of Johann Nepomuk I., his wife Kreszenz (née Flad, daughter of the then owner of Innstadt Brewery Passau) inherits the brewery and manages it with her son Johann Nepomuk II until 1907.

1907 Transfer to Johann Nepomuk II.

1923 After the barge collapsed behind the brewery due to snow load, an enlarged and improved reconstruction, as well as various, larger, mechanical improvements were initiated.

1929 After the death of Johann Nepomuk II, his wife Maria inherited all possessions with her sons Johann Nepomuk III, Josef and Fritz. Since Johann Nepomuk III. was still in training for diploma room master in Weihenstephan, led his brother Josef initially the business of the brewery.

1932 takes over Johann Nepomuk III. the management of the brewery, which employed at that time between 50-120 workers and two employees.

In the years 1929-1934 , many modernization and refurbishment measures were made in order to remain competitive with other breweries. For example, a bottle cleaning and bottling plant was installed, ferroconcrete scoops for bottom-fermented and top-fermented beer, as well as for mineral water, the purchase of a ladle vapor condenser and the construction of different malt silos.

1932 Purchase of wheat beer depot from G. Schneider & Sohn in Munich.

1933 purchase of the precious mineral water deposit of the well management Kondrau.

1934 Construction of an own factory locksmith.
Purchase of an Alfa Laval Seperator Centrifuge System.

In 1950-1969 , several modern bottling and cleaning facilities were purchased, ranging from 2,000 bottles / hour to 10,000 bottles / hour.

1964 Construction of a 2-unit brewhouse.

1991 Death of Johann Nepomuk III.

1991-2009 Management of the brewery by Erika Lang supported by authorized officer and diploma chamber master Bernhard Stangl († 15.11.2009).

1994 Installation of a fully automatic filling line from Krones (12,000 bottles / hour).

February 2009 Sale of the brewery Lang to Wolfgang Königseder, who continues to run it under the name Lang Bräu Freyung.

2010 Comprehensive renovation, modernization and expansion measures.

2014 The Lang-Bräu becomes a cooperative.
