Hi friends... yes it's been a long time. Anyway, late in October I am going to be giving a talk on the history of the crowncap. Alot of the information I am already familiar with (being a collector for the last 27 years) but I am looking for more details. Specifically on timeframes of crown design change overs, when flip caps were introduced, re-seals, etc. I also would like to comment on crown recycling for the war effort (could use images) and techincal issues like types of metal and plastic used in crowns today. Would love info on the printing process/manufacturing process and the current state of crown manufactureres in the USA (is it only CCS now??). Additional items of interest are production estimates for the last few years from various US manufacturers. Would love direct contact with employees at Zapata, CCS, and DAP (are these the 3 US companies??)
This talk I am going to give has re-sparked my interest in the collection and hopefully some of you might have some interesting trades to accompany the inforamtion that you can supply.
Thanks I really hope to hear from my fellow collectors, all e-mails will receive a reply. Please drop me a note with your phone contacts too... I have many questions.
This is just a note to remind everyone that Crown trading is taking place Aug. 19. This years event is being held at our new location In Medina, NY (43 miles East of Niagara Falls). There is plenty of space for traders to set up their crowns. We are expecting a good turn out this year with lots of great crowns. For more info please call us at (585) 798-8685.

My ME/N.E. Micro brew beer crowns for other U.S regional micros
Would like to trade my Maine / New England micro-brew beer crown caps for yours from other regions of the country....mine are fairly new (2001 on), so can't expect older ones from you (but they would be nice!). If you have any Mid-Atlantic, Southern, Southwestern, Northwestern, Midwestern, etc. micro-brew crowns you'd like to trade, I'd appreciate it. Best in groups of 20.

Hello,
I am a collector from America. I am willing to make a trade: either blind or with scans. My scans aren't up-to-date, so that may take a while, but meanwhile, blind trades will work just fine. Email me: anoah@comcast.net.
Thanks!
I'M INTERESTED IN TRADING SOME CAPS. I'M A BEER CAPS COLLECTOR ONLY, HOWEVER, I CAN SUPPLY ALL KIND OF PORTUGUESE BOTTLE CAPS AND FROM OTHERS COUNTRIES AS WELL. ANYONE INTERESTED PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME
I am always saddened when somebody needs to drop out of collecting and sell a bottle cap collection. As President of the CCSI, it is even sadder, however, when I see them dispose of it for less than they might have.
If you are thinking of selling, call me (360)671-7813 for advice as to how to get top dollar.
I'm always looking to trade or purchase large quantities of USA soda bottle caps, preferably plastic lined. Quantities of at least 50 caps, please. I have four daughters and run two internet businesses and don't have the time to trade a few caps at a time.
If you would like to look at the very large assortment of soda bottle caps that I have for sale in my eBay store, please click on the link above. I would certainly appreciate your business. I'll give you free shipping if you tell me that you found my store by way of CCSI.
